Cozumel Reef
 National Park

The Cozumel Reef National Park it's located in Mexico,
in the state of Quintana Roo, between the National Tulum
Park, and the Reef Nacional Park of Puerto Morelos.

In 1966 the president Ernesto Zedillo,
established the Conzumel Reef Nacional Park.

It embraces around 85% of the reef in the Cozumel island.
The reef is very important, it's home to animals and plants such as: sponges, very colorful corals, sea turtle, various kinds of fish, crustaceans, and more others.

A lot of people snorkel and dive in that reef, because of the enormous quantities of wildlife, and you don't have to be an expert in scuba diving, because the depth of a part of the reef it's 45 feet.

Tourism affects the park, because the visitors are increasing, and so does contamination. More people, are diving this enormous reef, and sometimes taking wildlife from nature.Which is often.

People should protect this reef, it's part of Mexico's biodiversity.
